A Brief J.J. Abrams Bio
J.J. Abrams was born Jeffery Jacom Abrams on June 27, 1966. He was born in New York but raised in Los Angeles. He is married to Katie McGrath (http://www.prlog.org/11996370-green-smoke-coupon-code-latest-working-coupons.html), who is a public relations executive, and they have three children together, two sons and a daughter.
Abrams began his career pretty early on. At just 16 years old, while attending Palisades Charter High School in Los Angeles, he wrote music for the film NightBeast. His career really began to take off when he was a senior in college. At that time (http://www.prlog.org/11996524-lifelock-promo-code-20-off-coupon.html) he and Jill Mazursky wrote a treatment for a feature film. That treatment was purchased by Touchstone pictures and eventually became the movie Taking Care of Business which starred Charles Grodin and Jim Belushi.
The next year, in 1991, Regarding Henry, starring Harrison Ford, was released which he wrote and co-produced. In 1992 came Forever Young, starring Mel Gibson (http://www.prlog.org/11996509-checks-unlimited-offer-code-50-off-coupon.html), in which Abrams wrote and executive produced. Since then he has had a series of films that he has written, produced, and even directed. He directed Mission Impossible 3 in 2006 as well as Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol in 2011. Other directing credits include the 2009 film Star Trek, and another 2011 film, Super 8.
Abrams also has a long list of television credits as well. He was the creator, writer, executive producer, director and even the co-composer of the theme music for Felicity which ran from 1998 through 2002. He was the creator, writer, executive producer, director, and the music composer for the television show Alias (http://www.prlog.org/11998277-tigerdirect-coupon-code-20-off.html) which ran from 2001 to 2006. He was the co-creator, executive producer, writer, director, and the music composer of Lost which ran from 2004 through 2010. There are a number of other television credits in his resume and his most recent project is a new series which recently premiered on Fox entitled Revolution.
With all of those credits to his name Abrams has received a string of awards. In 2005 he won the ASCAP Film and Television Music Award in the category of top TV series for the show Lost. That same year (http://www.prlog.org/11996528-sittercity-promo-code-25-off-coupon.html) he also won two Emmys for Lost, winning best director and outstanding drama series. He won the ASCAP award again the next year for the same show, in the same category. These are just to name a few and he has been nominated for and/or won many awards over the years.
One day I hope to attend a movie premiere for one of his movies. Maybe I can get a hotels.com coupon (http://www.prlog.org/11996518-bh-cosmetics-coupon-codes-save-30.html) and find a good deal on airfare to get myself down to Los Angeles. I have no idea how I will score tickets to a movie premiere though.
